New Yorker Nora Brown started learning music at the age of 6 and plays and sings traditional music with a focus on Southern Appalachian banjo and guitar styles. Nora also has learned directly from master musicians including Alice Gerrard, George Gibson and the late Art Rosenbaum. She has played numerous venues and festivals in the US and Europe including the Newport Folk Festival, the Philadelphia Folk Festival, on NPR’s Tiny Desk and an official showcase at the Americana Fest in Nashville. Hailing from the Chicago area, Stephanie Coleman is a highly respected and sought-after practitioner of Appalachian old-time fiddle. Over the years, Stephanie has remained a very much in-demand musician. She has performed or recorded with artists such as Rhiannon Giddens, Aoife O’Donovan & Bela Fleck. Her fiddling has taken her to legendary stages such as the Kennedy Centre, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Winnipeg Folk Festival, and Philadelphia Folk Festival. She holds the record for most ribbons won in the renowned fiddle contest at the Appalachian String Band Music Festival in Clifftop, WV.

Since 2018, Stephanie has performed as a duo with the newest generation of teenage old-time music phenoms – Nora Brown.
