One of the best ever Jumpin Hot Club shows was with Tony Joe White who passed away today. It was on a steamy Sunday evening in Live Theatre with Tony & his drummer turning the place swampy. In a 1 1/2 hour set I think he played all his songs in the key of E, never looking up and they all lasted about 15 mins plus. Songs such as Polk Salad Annie, Rainy Night In Georgia & of course Steamy Windows. Eventually local musician’s John Miles & Franky Gibbon joined him for a grand finale but it was all very much in the groove. RIP Tony Joe, you left your mark
