First of all, we want to personally thank you for your support. We consider you all to be a part of Jumpin Hot Club (& Northern Roots).
You may or may not know, but Jumpin’ Hot Club is a charity! We work to promote and show case diverse artists, and more recently we have begun to work with those artists to deliver sessions in schools – giving children and young people positive role models from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds. As well as that, the music programme Graham so beautifully crafts is subsidised from within the organisation, from external funding and most importantly from donations from our wonderful supporters!! Something else you may not know, one of our lovely venues Gosforth Civic Theatre is also a charity! They support adults with learning disabilities and young people with autism, through placements and regular weekly activity. You can help them raise funds to help support the work that they do and allow them to put on great music, theatre and cinema, as well as their continued support of JHC. You can get involved in their fundraising week by going along to events or gaining sponsorship or you can give what you can via this link
