Morning came & morning went, & then I started my music adventure, mid afternoon at my good chum Robbie Ellen’s Threadgills showcase. Their were a couple of Uk based acts that were quite good inc The Roseberry’s. I then went to an actual music Festival within the Fest, out on the grounds of Sam’s Town Point. It was just what the Country Cantina/Jamboree would be. 600 people, one outdoor stage & one indoor & some lovely music & a great friendly atmosphere.
Cw Stoneking was my highlight but Ben Dickey was a find & also The Kerrnel & Rayland Baxter. We also saw Tony Joe White, Charlie Sexton, Ramsey Midwood & Host Nikki Lane. They were all backed by The Texas Gentlemen
