Fleet Foxes favourite musician Frank Fairfield will be strolling into the toon for his debut on Bank Holiday Mon Aug 30th @ Cluny2.

Were going to throw a special 78 rpm party for him to celebrate, then he will perform his show....a rare bank holiday treat !

The acclaimed songsmith Darden Smith is added to Sam Baker's Gateshead Town Hall shindig on Sept 17th, making it an all Austin Texas affair....

Its been a few years since weve seen the innovative songwriter from Seattle, Damien Jurado here in the toon , but my oh my, those good guys The Cluny have scooped him a gig & its highly recommended by my goodself

The Gateshead Town Hall is undergoing a massive refurbishment & as The Tyneside Cinema & Northern Sinfonia will already know, as theyve both resided there in the recent past, the actual hall is a fabulous space. So come early November we will be programming a couple shows in there to start the ball rolling. This will be an ongoing programme thoughout 2010 & beyond, in contrast to our other Gateshead gigs.
